EC: 566 nomination forms snapped up in Pahang so far
Pahang has 14 Parliamentary and 42 state seats.
KUANTAN - The Pahang Election Commission (EC) has so far sold 566 nomination forms, its director Datuk Zamree Hamli said.
From the total, 144 forms were bought by candidates eyeing the Parliamentary seats while the remainder 422 were for the State seats.
"The forms were bought by representatives from political parties including independent candidates at the EC office here (Wisma Persekutuan) and the office of the Electoral Officer in 14 parliamentary constituencies," he said when contacted by Sinar Harian today.
He said individuals who plan to run still have time to buy nomination forms.
The forms could be bought till 10 am on the nomination day this Saturday.
