He said ASA was a platform to appreciate local creative industry players.
"We have revived it and will continue (hosting it),... I am happy to say that everybody is happy.
"The important thing is for the broadcasting industry to grow and more and more people will want to take part," he told Bernama tonight.
He expressed satisfaction with the hosting of the prestigious event that kicked off yesterday (Oct 29).
Annuar sparked the idea to rebrand ASA and introduced an additional cash prize from the Digital Content Fund which aims at helping and encouraging creative industry practitioners to produce, market and distribute creative content to the local and international markets, especially in the post-Covid-19 phase.
Previously known as Anugerah RTM (Radio Televisyen Malaysia), ASA was created by the Information Ministry in 1972 to honour its radio and television content producers. - BERNAMA
