GE15: Muda supports Anwar as PM candidate, agrees to PH’s manifesto
Muda's Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman at party's conference to announce GE15 candidates
PETALING JAYA - Muda will support Pakatan Harapan President Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the 10th Prime Minister candidate and to follow the coalition's manifesto for the 15th General Election (GE15).
Muda Deputy President Amira Aisya Abdul Aziz said among the agreements the two parties has came up with are Muda to support Anwar Ibrahim as the Prime Minister candidate, no clash of seats for the parties’ candidates as well as the flexibility for Muda to use their own logo in the election.
The election director also said their negotiations have ended on good terms and they will be using PH’s manifesto in GE15.
“This is our first election and we are determined to contest with a clear vision.
“The negotiations with PH has been finalised this evening and we have formed a clear coalition for GE15.
“Three main things we have agreed on is that Muda, together with PH will support Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the PM candidate, we will ensure that there is no clash of seats between our parties and Muda has the flexibility to use our own logo in the election,” she said during a press conference at Muda’s office, here, on Saturday.
She said this after announcing the three candidates for the general election; Daniel Abdul Majeed (Kepala Batas), Siti Rahayu Baharin (Tanjung Karang) and Lim Wei Jiet (Tanjung Piai).
