GE15: Anwar to announce high-profile candidates today
SHAH ALAM - PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will make an announcement on its high-profile candidates comprising figures from various backgrounds to contest in the 15th General Election (GE15), this afternoon.
This was informed by PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli through his social media account.
"PKR will make an announcement naming high-profile candidates comprising figures from various backgrounds in GE15.
"The announcement will be made in a press conference by @anwaribrahim on Oct 26 at 2pm at the PKR headquarters," he said.
Previously, during the Pakatan Harapan (PH) Convention at the Ipoh Convention Centre, the PH chairman promised to take a pay cut if he was chosen as the next Prime Minister.
He claimed that he could not receive such salary considering the economic situation.
He also said he would also trim the size of his Cabinet and cut their salaries too.
