SHAH ALAM - Former Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital (HCTM) director Professor Datuk Dr Khalid Kadir has died this morning.

He was 74.

The news was shared by his sibling through a text message.

“My beloved brother Khalid passed away in his sleep this morning,” the message said.

Dr Khalid will be laid to rest at the Kota Damansara Muslim Cemetery in the evening before or after Asar prayers.

In the message, his family said those who wished to visit him and pay their respects could do so at Surau Perdana in Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya from noon, today.

Dr Khalid was known as a person who firmly believed in welfare and education.
