Muda central executive committee member Ainie Haziqah Shafii said it was important for the people to know that Muda is not strictly a youth-centric party that will focus on youth-related issues but issues linked to all Malaysians.
Muda stands for Malaysian United Democratic Alliance.
“Just because we have Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and Amira Aisya as the president and deputy president, it doesn't mean we do not have those who are more experienced in age or in politics,” she said during an interview with Sinar Daily’s Politically Frank.
She said among Muda’s central executive committee, people of various backgrounds and ages were included to have a say in decisions for the rakyat.
Ainie also said that Muda’s strongest point was bringing forward fresh, new faces in Malaysian politics who were ready to make changes for the country.
“These are people who love the country, youths who love the country and want to ensure that we can give the best to the country,” she said.
