Gain cash when you recycle at Zero Waste Earth Store tomorrow

SHAH ALAM - Zero Waste Earth Store have joined hands with Pertubuhan Wanita Setia Alam for an environmentally as well as financially exciting event named Waste-To-Cash Recycle Day.
The event would be held this Saturday (Oct 22) from 12 noon to 3pm at a convenience store in Ardence Crest, Eco Ardence Shah Alam.
Visitors can look forward to converting a variety of waste listed on the event’s poster on Facebook into cash vouchers that can be redeemed for any products at the store.
The products are by refill and reuse.
Among acceptable items for recycling are plastic resin number one to seven, bubble wrap, paper, books, tetrapak and carton boxes.
Other convertible wastes are tin, can, metal, aluminium, electronic waste, car and phone battery.
Used cooking oil, glass jar, bottles, fabrics, clothes, shoes, bags, toys, pillows and single-used face mask (disinfected and quarantined for five days) can also be recycled.
Visitors are expected to segregate the waste prior to bringing it over to Zero Waste Earth Store. The waste also needs to be cleaned and dried for effective recycling.
