GE15: BN Selangor's candidate list finalised, will be revealed on November 5

KUALA SELANGOR - The Selangor Barisan Nasional (BN) is spoilt for choices in the coming 15th General Election (GE15) with its chairman Tan Sri Noh Omar claiming that there are "too many qualified candidates."

As such, Noh told those who are eagerly waiting for BN's candidacy in Selangor to wait till November 5 -- which is GE15's nomination day.

"The list of candidates have been sent so just wait for the announcement on November 5 2022.

"When we send names, we include everyone from various background including women and youths.

"This is my third experience of being a part of the nomination process, its not easy to choose and nominate candidates because there are many qualified candidates," he said.

When asked on Umno Selangor's situation on the ground, Noh claimed that the party is ready "to rock and roll."

"We have prepared for GE15. We have started campaigning. We have also asked for election machinery.

"Umno Selangor is ready to face GE15," he said.

Meanwhile Caretaker Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz who accompanied Noh at an event organised by his ministry, said he is currently busy working to help Malaysian.

"I am busy working right now and is focusing to help Malaysians," he said when asked over his preparations for GE15.

GE15 will be held on November 19 with the nomination day set on November 5.
