GE15: Malaysians, you are the boss - #RasuahBusters

SHAH ALAM - Rasuah Busters chief Datuk Hussamuddin Yaacub stressed that the 15th General Election (GE15) is the best opportunity for the people to choose the best candidate who will lead the country.

He said leaders could no longer be considered bosses, but the public actually deserved that recognition.

"As Malaysians, we are actually the boss. We choose who we want to be our leaders.

“All this time we've been with the leader.

"In fact, we as responsible citizens, we have to choose the best people to lead our country.

"So, this is the opportunity that we have to get through GE15 and we should take the responsibility to make a choice," he said when speaking at the launch ceremony of the #SatuJari event in conjunction with the 15th General Election - Satu Jari Bebas Rasuah at the Karangkraf Group Complex here on Tuesday.

He further said that Rasuah Busters was neutral, as equivalent to oxygen utilising the movement highlighted the people’s freedom to choose in polls.

The message they wanted to get across, he said, was for the public to go out to vote during polling day and get the message out that the members of the public were the bosses who choose the leaders who would do the job for us.

“But who are the people who should be chosen? They should have criteria and quality,” he questioned.

He said people should ensure the leaders chosen could lead the country with full of honesty and integrity.

“So, don't waste this opportunity. We have to convince all of our acquaintances and our families.

“The power has been transferred back to us,” he urged.

#Satujari campaign is a symbol of the people's togetherness and is a new aspiration in Malaysia's history of dignity, corruption-free and robustness with the selection of a leadership line of integrity in the GE15.
