Covid-19: Six deaths in the last 24 hours

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia records six deaths due to Covid-19 on Monday with five being brought in deaths (BID) outside of health facilities.

The Health Ministry (MoH) through the KKMNOW portal stated that 1,209 new cases were recorded with one imported case.

There were 23,070 active cases with 22,002 (95.4 per cent) undergoing home quarantine.

A total of 1,025 patients were being treated in hospitals with 43 patients placed in the intensive care unit (ICU).

Of the number, a total of 19 patients needed ventilator support.

MOH announced a total of 2,026 recoveries were recorded making the overall total of recoveries to 4,808,909 cases.
