SHAH ALAM – Ahead of the 15th General Election (GE15), former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad highlights that the Malays can choose between the ‘criminal Malays’ in Umno or Malays who are free from criminal cases from Pejuang to rule the country.

In a statement, Dr Mahathir said the Malays wanted to be ruled by a Malay-dominated government and now they had choices.

He said the main focus in the agenda of Pejuang was the issues of the Malays especially poverty and land loss.

"The rule of law will be respected.

“Power will not be abused.

“Corruption will be fought, the cost of living will be lowered.

“The country will be restored until it returns to become the Asian Tiger," the statement read,

Pejuang, he said, represented four Malay political parties, namely Pejuang, Putra, Iman and Berjasa as well as many Malays who were not allowed to be active in politics.
