KUALA LUMPUR - Six people faced a nightmare when the lift they were in fell from the eighth floor at a condominium in Brickfields here on Friday.

Operations Commander Senior Fire Officer I Rozman Abd Rashid said the Kuala Lumpur Operations Centre received an emergency call at 9.52pm.

"A total of 11 members and officers together with machinery from the Hang Tuah Fire and Rescue Station rushed to the scene of the incident.

"On the arrival of the scene, we found three women, two adult men and a two-year-old girl in the elevator," he said in a statement on Saturday.

He said, a woman and a man suffered broken leg as a result of the incident.

"The victims were sent to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for further treatment," he said, adding that the incident is still under investigation.
