SHAH ALAM - There will be no cooperation between Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Bersatu in the 15th General Election, reaffirms Lim Guan Eng.

The DAP national chairman said previously, the PH presidential council made a decision not to cooperate with either Perikatan Nasional or Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin due to the betrayal in the Sheraton Move that resulted in the fall of the PH government in 2020.

“The PH presidential council previously decided not to cooperate with either PN or Muhyiddin because of his prominent “traitor” role in the Sheraton Move betraying the mandate of the rakyat and forming a backdoor government with Umno, MCA, MIC and Pas.

“One cannot cooperate with a person with serious trust issues,” he said in a Facebook post.

Cooperation with Muhyiddin or PN, he said could only be entertained if the PH presidential council reversed its previous decision in which he would oppose.

“As for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, PH is willing to cooperate with opposition parties provided they accept the leadership role of PH and Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the candidate for prime minister.

“This was accepted unconditionally by Muda and Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.

“However, the PH presidential council has not been informed of any change of heart by Dr Mahathir,” he said.
