GE15: Muda will use PH’s logo to contest
SHAH ALAM – Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) will use Pakatan Harapan's (PH) logo to contest in the 15th General Election (GE15).
Teluk Intan MP Nga Kor Ming confirmed the matter through his social media account and said that the collaboration would be solid and brought new hope for Malaysians.
"Muda will collaborate and use Harapan’s logo to contest in GE15, we are strong together, hope for Malaysia! #HarapanUtkMalaysia #AnwarPM10 @partimuda," he said.
Yesterday, PH chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said a political pact between the two parties after a decision was made during the PH presidential council meeting.
However, Muda may not be able to officially be registered as PH's component party yet as its application to do so requires approval from the Registrar of Societies (ROS) which would be completed well after GE15.
"As announced, the committee will continue negotiating and list down a few more matters for the parties' understanding. There will also be subsequent meetings to decide on seats allocation, the use of logo...basically there are no objections," he told reporters last night.
