Umno Youth Exco, Farhan Khairuddin
This is because, he said Umno has young leaders who are ready to lead the country in the future.
"It cannot and is not fair to randomly tossed at all Umno members.
"For example, I joined Umno in 2018 when Umno lost. My generation did not inherit any mistake as the people portrayed that we are corrupt. We also went through a very long and painstaking struggle," he said.
He said this at Sinar's Programme titled Perang PRU15 (Battle in GE15) broadcasted live on Sinar Harian's Facebook.
Farhan said the level of readiness of young leaders in Umno can also be seen through the two state elections held in Melaka and Johor when many of these groups were appointed as candidates.
"If we look at the Melaka state elections, we have a list of the number of young leaders'. The same with Johor and even the chief minister is young," he said.
Farhan added that all the accusations thrown by the opposition to Umno could not come close to Barisan Nasional's achievements as the ruling party to develope the country.
In the meantime, he said, the 15th General Election (GE15) will be held soon in a hope to end political controversy that has been going on in the country since 2020.
