SHAH ALAM - Dissolution of Parliament today reflects how Umno is too far separated from the wishes and needs of the people, says Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) Information Chief Wan Saiful Wan Jan.

He said this move was also the first step in electing their party president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi as prime minister.

“Not only is Ismail Sabri the shortest Prime Minister in history but he is also being ‘horsed-around’ in the upcoming election.

“Umno has shown their true plans during the recent Johor state election,” he said, adding that the people needs to evaluate Umno’s behaviour.

Wan Saiful said Umno was led by the court clusters that rejects and destroyed the efforts of a united Ummah and could not care less about the plight of the people who are faced with the risks of floods and natural disasters.

“Not only do they not care about the people, but they have not changed from their corrupt culture of ‘take while you can’.

“Umno’s priority is not the people but power and wealth alone,” he said.

He called on to the people make assess the politicians based on their love for the nation and determination to bring goodness to Malaysia.

Wan Saiful said let love for the country bring us all to make the correct decision in choosing the leaders.

He added that the only coalition that was proven to be clean and care about the welfare of the people was Perikatan Nasional, highlighting their agenda of caring for the people integrity and shared prosperity.

"Our candidates will go through a rigorous screening process so that everything is clean and honest.

"The Election Machinery and the Penerangan Bersatu Machinery have been prepared from the beginning," he said.

He shared Bersatu's Prihatin Squad also had deployed to prepare for flood disasters and all ready to help the people.
