Woman killed, three including a baby injured in a car crash
SYDI ALIFSHAH ALAM – A woman was killed while her husband and two children sustained injuries when the car they were travelling in crashes into a tree at Persiaran Raja Muda, Section 3, here, today.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Director Norazam Khamis said his team received a distress call on the accident at 2.11pm and a team from the Shah Alam Fire and Rescue Station was rushed to the scene.
“Upon arrival at the scene, the team found out that members of the public had assisted to lead the injured victims – the man and the two children– out of the wrecked Toyota Vios.
“The 29-year-old woman, however, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The rescue team had extricated the body of the woman who was pinned in the wreckage,” he said, adding that the body was handed over to the police for further action.
The 43-year-old husband sustained injuries on the waist while the two children, a two-year-old daughter and eight-month-old son were reported to have sustained minor injuries.
All victims were transported to the nearest hospital for further treatments.
