Budget 2023: Discount up to RM100 to encourage domestic tourism

KUALA LUMPUR – To encourage Malaysian Family to travel to their preferred location in the country, the government is giving incentives in terms of discounts, vouchers and rebates for accommodations, tourism packages, arts and handicrafts up to RM100 for the public.

Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said the incentive involved an allocation worth RM25 million.

He said this when he tabled Budget 2023 at the Parliament today.

The budget themed Strengthening Recovery and Facilitating Reforms towards Sustainability of Economic Resilience and Wellbeing of Keluarga Malaysia had for core focuses which were wellbeing of the people, business continuity, economic prosperity and efficiency of government services.
