PUTRAJAYA - The agenda to dissolve the Parliament may be discussed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in his meeting with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah later today.

Ismail Sabri said this could be reached if matters related to cabinet were resolved early.

"We will see, if the discussions last until Maghrib, then there would be no time to discuss other matters,” he said.

Ismail Sabri said the session to have an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong was a weekly routine before the Cabinet meeting took place.

"That is what we call pre-cabinet, for me to give a briefing regarding what would be discussed in the cabinet or any other messages from the Agong and such," he said.

When asked whether the date of the dissolution of Parliament would be discussed Ismail Sabri responded: “It is not sure whether it will be brought up or not," he said.

Regarding the action of 12 ministers who sent a letter to the King to show their stance against the decision to dissolve Parliament this year, Ismail Sabri said it was up to the King to decide as the dissolution of Parliament was under his power.

"Anyone has a right to give their views including the Prime Minister but the deciding factor is the Agong.
