SHAH ALAM - The My #QuranTime programme which is organised since two years ago, has given a lot of impact and changed the lifestyle of its followers towards a better direction.

Lawyer Yahaya Othman said the Islamic programme had also taught him to put religion as the priority in daily life routines.

"By following the programme and having a deeper understanding on the miracle (mukjizat) of the Quran has changed the way I live now.

"We have to plan our journey according to the priority, which matters are more important, reciting the Quran or making a living from dusk till dawn until you abandon the Quran?

"I started to realise that many things emphasised in the Quran were not practiced in our daily lives,”he told Sinar Harian on Monday.

The retired policeman also shared his excitement to join the Khatam Tadabbur My #QuranTime 1.0 Convocation Ceremony with his family at the Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque in Putrajaya which will be held on Oct 8.

"I have followed this programme from the start, I don't want to miss the Khatam (finish reading the Quran) and listen to the tadabbur with the crowd this time.

"We usually just watch the khatam Quran ceremony, but to khatam and participate in a tadabbur is something new for Malaysians.
