'The others are angels' - Zul Ariffin
SEPANG - Popular actor Zul Ariffin has made a sarcastic retort against certain parties over the charge framed against him, today.
He said he had willingly took responsibility and pleaded guilty to the charge brought by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
"The others who were involved are angels, I was the only one who admitted, it’s okay," he said when met after the proceedings at the Sepang Courts Complex, here, today.
Zul said as an actor and celebrity, all actions will have its consequences.
"I know I made a mistake because I put up the post," he said.
He said the charge would become a lesson for him to be more careful on social media.
"This is also a lesson for the others or actors out there.
"If you are asked to make a post, don't bother. It was sensationalised for the purpose of promotion, so be careful and take me as an example,” he said.
Earlier,the actor who will be celebrating his birthday on Oct 25 arrived in court at about 8.10am accompanied by his lawyer and producer Gayathri Su-Lin Pillai, among others to face the charge.
