Police ready to serve whenever GE15 is held, IGP says

SHAH ALAM - Police are ready to give its best and ensure a smooth 15th General Election (GE15) no matter when the date of the election will be.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said the police are all set in readiness if the 15th General Election (GE15) was called at any time.
"Just like the previous years, the police will ensure thorough preparations in terms of human resources and assets to ensure that GE15 would go smoothly.
"With the preparations we have made, we hope that the GE15 will be conducted peacefully and under control," he said.
He said this in a press conference after he attended the 75th Marine Police Day celebration at the marine police base in Batu Uban, Pulau Pinang today.
