Umno's special meeting with President, PM to take place on Tuesday?
SHAH ALAM - A special meeting with party President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob is scheduled to take place next Tuesday.
Based on a letter that went viral, the meeting would involve all Umno Division Heads, Youth, Wanita and Puteri Umno divisions.
In the letter signed by Umno Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan, the meeting was scheduled to be held at the Tun Hussein Onn Hall, World Trade Centre (WTC), Kuala Lumpur at 2pm.
"A special meeting with Umno President and Prime Minister will be held on October 4 (Tuesday), at Dewan Tun Hussein Onn, WTC.
"In this regard, all Umno Division Heads, Wanita Umno Division Heads, Divisional Youth Chiefs and Puteri Umno Division Heads are invited to attend the meeting," the invitation letter read.
The letter went viral recently because there was no confirmation from Umno members.
Meanwhile, Terengganu Umno Liaison Board Chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Said when contacted by Sinar Harian said that he had not received any letter regarding the invitation.
