SHAH ALAM - Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) calls for the date of the 15th General Election (GE15) to be decided.

PBM president-designate Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin said it was important to set a date for the upcoming election following the current political turmoil in the country.

"This is important, we are in a messy political situation and every day we ask when is the election?

"There is no provision, even developed countries have started to set election dates.

"The time has come for PBM to raise this agenda so that an election date can be set," she said when speaking at PBM's 2022 First Annual General Assembly today.

Zuraida said through setting election date, it was easier for politicians, businessmen, investors, the economy and the government administration to plan well.

"If it's messy like this, the investors would not come in. Do we want to continue in this situation?

"When we have a date for the election it makes it easier for all parties including investors, government officials and the economy to run smoothly," she said.

In the meantime, Zuraida said, the thing that differentiates the party from other parties in this country was in terms of the doctrine.

"We have our own doctrine where the mentality of our members is subjected to the national principle," she explained.
