JOHOR BAHRU - Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA) coalition needs to win the 15th General Election (GE15) to restore political stability, says Mahdzir Ibrahim.

The GTA Deputy Information Chief said the coalition would want to work with NGOs to boost political stability and governance.

"GTA will move with the NGOs and individuals who are not political parties to stop political cartels from running rampant causing instability in politics and governance.

"GTA is a movement that would be ruled by the people, not by a political party, said the Parit Sulong Parliamentary Coordinator.

"The task is difficult and is almost impossible, but we are confident for such in roads," he said in a statement today.

He viewed Malaysia as immature in managing political administration as the importance is given to party politics over the country's needs.

He said there were political cartels who were willing to work with parties that lost causing chaos in the country's politics, referring to Sheraton Move in 2020 which saw the sudden collapse of Pakatan Harapan.

He said they betrayed the people's mandate that was given to Pakatan Harapan (PH) and the former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad in GE14.
