SHAH ALAM - Gerakan wants to use its own flag in the upcoming 15th General Election (GE15), said Penang Gerakan chief Oh Tong Keong.

He further urged the party central committee to discuss with Perikatan Nasional (PN) leaders over their requests.

"I request that Penang Gerakan use our own flag to compete in GE15.

"This is because many Penang voters still think we are still in Barisan Nasional (BN)," he said in a statement today.

Meanwhile, Gerakan president Datuk Dominic Lau Hoe Chai said the party will not repeat the same mistakes done in the previous elections.

"This is because GE15 is very important to us. As a president, I will ensure weakness do not repeat," said Lau during a press conference in Penang today.

However, he said elections may not be held this year as states under Pas and Pakatan Harapan do not support the move to dissolve the Parliament this year.
