ROME - A couple have admitted to tax evasion after eight million euros (approx. RM36.17 million) in cash was found buried on their land in the Franciacorta area, their lawyer said Wednesday after an hearing before a judge.

According to Italian news agency (ANSA), the couple were arrested and taken to jail in relation to suspicions that a company they run issued false invoices for 500 million euros and dodged 93 million euros in taxes. - BERNAMA
