KUALA TERENGGANU - As Muafakat Nasional enters its third year, Pas has again called for a ceasefire between the Islamic and the Malay party.

Kuala Nerus MP Datuk Khairuddin Aman Razali said there should be more discussions held between the two.

"There must be a ceasefire between us. Let's have a consensus," he said in his Facebook.

"If we can't band together as fellow Muslims and as Muslim politicians, who would celebrate it (Muafakat Nasional)?" he said.

On Sept 6, he told both parties to return Muafakat Nasional as grassroots want Pas and Umno united as a way to win GE15.

Khairuddin said there was still hope for both parties to fix their relationship.

"Let's not give up because it is the wishes of members," he said.

Umno has so far said they will go solo without Pas in GE15.
