Canadian popstar Justin Bieber who is currently on tour for his Justice World Tour has announced he will be taking a break to prioritise his health.

The 28-year-old singer was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome earlier in June, a rare condition that attacks facial nerves.

“I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being,” he wrote in a note that was uploaded in an Instagram story.

Because of his health condition Bieber had not been able to complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour.

But after resting and consulting doctors, he resumed shows in Europe, performing six shows.

“This past weekend I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil.

“After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realised that I need to make my health the priority right now.

“So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be ok but I need time to rest and get better,” he wrote.
