SHAH ALAM – An officer involved in investigating the SRC International Sdn Bhd and a portion of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) case, Tuan Yusran Yahya said that he was only doing his job which was entrusted to him.

The banking forensic expert told Sinar Premium that even though he faced multiple challenges, the trust that was given must be done as well as possible.

“I have nothing but to help the investigation team, we just have to carry out the task until it’s completed.

“We faced many challenges but our intention was to investigate with no other purpose so we just have to go through it,” he said.

Yusran added during that time, he was focused to carry out the task.

“I am more focused on the work that I consider a challenge, I would finish my task that was given,” he said.

Meanwhile, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Deputy Public Prosecutor Ahmad Sazilee Abdul Khairi and MACC Investigation Chief (Special Operations Division) Tuan Roslan Tuan Mat when contacted said they were not able to share any stories at the time since they were still attached to the commission.

“I have nothing to share at the time,” they said.
