SHAH ALAM - Just minutes after former prime minister's wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor was found guilty of RM1.25 billion solar power graft involving 369 Sarawak rural schools, social media users shared their views asking other leaders to learn and do what is right from now on.

Some Facebook users expressed sympathy and hope that Malaysian leaders will learn right from wrong and will keep away from corruption.

Facebook user, Roslilawati Mukhtar hopes the charges will be a lesson to other politicians.

"Do not embezzle rakyat's and nation's money. Life won't be easy," she warned.

Another Facebook user, Mhh Haikal Hakim hopes politicians would carry out their responsibility with trust.

Others advised Malaysians not to laugh at the misery of others.

"(Why) laugh at someone's misery as if you have not done any sin. Hopefully, Najib and Rosmah will be forgiven for their sins and their dignity will be restored," said user, Ayoh Pink.

Meanwhile, Rosminah Hussien said only God knows the truth and wished the husband and wife well.

Twitter user Kate Ng said, "Extremely glad justice has been served again today."
