Rosmah arrives at KL High Court
KOUSALYA SELVAM, ATHIRA AMINUDIN, SYAZUAN SABRIKUALA LUMPUR - Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor has arrived at the Courts Complex, here, today, for the decision of her solar hybrid energy project corruption case.
The wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak who was clad in a yellow baju kurung with a matching scarf arrived at 8.55am.
It was a calm atmosphere with no supporters in sight at the Courts Complex.
Today, all eyes will on High Court judge Mohamed Zaini Mazlan who is scheduled to deliver his verdict on the case.
Rosmah is facing three corruption counts involving a RM1.25 billion solar hybrid project for 369 rural schools in Sarawak.
Meanwhile, outside of the court’s compound, a supporter of Rosmah expressed her disappointment as they claimed that they were denied entry to the Court.
Radiah Rashid who hailed from Sungai Buloh said she was utterly frustrated as she had arrived at the Court at 7am to show her support to Rosmah.
“There is no point in coming over here with a crowd if we cannot go inside. We come here voluntarily and we have been coming to the court since day one,” she said.
The 63-year-old further commented that she was not worried about today’s verdict.
She added that it was a waste of time to talk about justice if her right as a supporter was denied to enter the court.
