PUTRAJAYA - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob is considering to table the 2023 Budget if the law permits him to do so.

When met by reporters on Tuesday, he said he needed to seek advice from Attorney General (AG) Tan Sri Idrus Harun.

"We need to look at it from a constitutional and legislative standpoint, if it's not possible, then it could not be done.

"If it is possible it could be considered if there is no conflict," he said.

He said the 2023 Budget that was scheduled to be tabled on Oct 7, will be made by Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.

"It is not known who will table it yet but for now it will be the Finance Minister," he said after the 18th Ceremony of the Prime Speech for Public Services (Mappa XVIII), here, on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin claimed that Ismail Sabri will table the 2023 Budget based on the information from the cabinet members.
