SUBANG JAYA - Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said today he is no longer excited to become the prime minister and will allow the rakyat to decide in the coming 15th general elections (GE15).

"I am no longer excited (for the prime minister's post). We will leave it to the rakyat's discretion," he said during a question and answer session at Pathway To a Better Future For Malaysia Economy seminar, here, today.

Commenting on the seminar, Anwar, the PKR president said the country's policies should ensure people live in comfort.

"Especially good governance and a few other issues need to be given attention to, especially on the suffering of the people that needs to be understood," he said, adding that focus should be given to

poverty, education and the environment the families live in.

At the same time, the Port Dickson MP touched on the need to curb corruption.

"Even though there are alleged high profile cases, however, the issue of corruption is still rampant.

"It needs immediate attention," Anwar added.
