SHAH ALAM – Word on the grapevine hinted that the upcoming concert by Justin Bieber due to take place in Malaysia this Oct 22 is cancelled.

But fear not Beliebers, as the concert organiser PR Worldwide has responded to confirm the status of the highly anticipated performance.

Its company director, Anita Baskaran has confirmed that the concert will go on as planned.

"If you don't see any official statement from PR Worldwide or AEG tour producers, then it's not true.

"As of now, we have been informed that the tour is happening as scheduled," she said in a phone interview with Sinar Daily.

Bieber's concert in Malaysia comes part of his massive world tour called "Justice World Tour".

Previously, the Grammy award winner cancelled shows in the United States after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which causes facial paralysis.

However towards the end of July, the 28-year-old was back on stage to resume his tour.

"Justice World Tour" in Malaysia will be held at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil.
