PUTRAJAYA - The Federal Court today dismissed Datuk Seri Najib Razak's final appeal to set aside his conviction, jail sentence and fine imposed over the embezzlement of SRC International Sdn Bhd's funds.

A five-judge panel chaired by Chief Justice Tun Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat unanimously made the ruling after finding that the Kuala Lumpur High Court had not erred when it convicted Najib on the charges.

Following the decision, the former prime minister was ordered to serve 12 years in prison and a pay the fine of RM210 million.
