The past two years have deprived music lovers from attending live concerts no thanks to the pandemic but on a positive note, more concerts are coming to our shores as the world slowly makes its recovery.

It appears to be an exciting few months ahead for music enthusiasts and concert goers are some big names will be performing on Malaysian grounds.

If you are eager to reignite your passion for music and live concerts, here are a list of big performances that have been confirmed.

1. RAIN - Aug 27

South Korean heartthrob Rain is officailly coming down to Kuala Lumpur on Aug 27 where he will perform for the Betadia Night concert at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil from 8pm to 11pm.

The singer and actor will be accompanied by two local artist Andrew Tan and Jes Lee.

2. G-IDLE - Sept 9 2022

“Oh God, I should stay away, but then you will hit me up and I am on my way..”

Pretty sure the Neverlands in Malaysia could relate to this as they are indeed calling for their fans to attend their concert as it was confirmed that Malaysia and Singapore are included in their ‘JUST ME ( )I-DLE’ world tour this year.

The popular South Korean girl group will be meeting their fans at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on Sept 9 2022 at 8.30pm so get yourself hyped up to sing along to their hit songs such as ‘Oh My God’, ‘LATATA’ and many others.

3. DEWA 19 - Sept 9 and 10 2022

The overwhelming response for the Indonesian rock band could not be any more obvious after the tickets were sold out in only one hour that they ended up adding another showcase for their concert in Malaysia.

With the upcoming 30 Years of Dewa 19 Anniversary Tour, fans are more than happy with the additional date and will be able to see them in action on Sept 9 and 10 at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil.

What makes the concert even more special for the fans is that it will be the first time that Dewa 19 features their four vocalists - Ari Lasso, Once Mekel, Virzha and Ello together on the same stage.

4. GOOD VIBES WEEKENDER - Sept 23 and 24 2022

Up for a non-stop excitement and music at full-blast during the weekends?

Check out Good Vibes Weekender which will features top notch performers such as Jackson Wang, CL, Joe Flizzow, SonaOne, Dolla, Beabadoobee, Pink Sweat$, Shallou, Yonnyboii, Surf Mesa, Oh Wonder, The Peachskins, Midnight Fusic, NYK, Late Night Frequency and many more in the list.

Events company Future Sound Asia goes all-in with the return of this festival after a two-year hiatus and the location of Good Vibes this year will be at Surf Beach @ Sunway Lagoon.

5. RUSS - Nov 3, 2022

“She’s fallin’ in love now, losin’ control now...”

Can any of Russ’ fans clarify how this could perfectly describe how they are now after the American rapper confirmed that he will be on stage in the country in November this year?

With fellow rap artist Bugus, Russ will be performing at Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon this Nov 9 2022 so prepare to be blown away by his energy on stage especially if he decided to deliver his hit singles such as ‘What They Want’, ‘Losin’ Control’ and ‘Best on Earth’.

6. LANY - Nov 6, 2022

“We could fly around the world, but we always end up, dancing in the kitchen..”

Lany fans would be vibing to these lyrics from their song ‘Dancing in the Kitchen’, but why dance in the kitchen when you could dance to this during their concert?

Wait no more since the well-known American pop rock group will be visiting Malaysia for the second time on Nov 6 and fans can meet him in real life at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil.

7. BOY PABLO - Nov 25, 2022

“One day I want you, next day I’m all gone, should you wanna be with me?...”

Boy Pablo fans, put your hands in the air and scream ‘YES’ at the top of your lungs!

Now imagine doing this at their concert and it might become a reality with their upcoming concert in the country scheduled to be held at Zepp KL Bukit Bintang on Nov 25.

His latest 2020 release, ‘Wachito Riko’ is anticipated by his fans and his hit songs will definitely be energising you to the max during the concert.

Ticket’s price ranges between RM175 and RM250, and are available for purchase via Onion Production.

8. BOYS LIKE GIRLS - Oct 15, 2022

“Throw it away, forget yesterday, we’ll make the great escape..”

‘The Great Escape’ by the American rock group is a song that stuck to most of their fans, and it is easy to hit it off with these particular lyrics.

Now that we have come to October, what could be a better escape after all those busy months than a concept for you to let loose and appreciate your favourite music?

The band which comprises of singer and guitarist Martin Johnson, bassist Bryan Donahue, drummer John Keefe and guitarist Paul DiGiovanni, they are set to appear in Kuala Lumpur on Oct 15 for their Asia-Pacific part of their world tour.

Although there is little information, such as the location and ticket availability as of this writing, it is anticipated that they will play their 2006 self-titled album in its entirety.

9. JUSTIN BIEBER - Oct 22, 2022

Despite being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, the popstar was seen performing on stage again so we're hopeful his plans to come to Malaysia will go accordingly!

The star is scheduled to perform at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia this Oct 22 as part of his Justice World Tour.

10. CALUM SCOTT - Oct 27, 2022

After his last showcase in Sheraton Petaling Jaya in March 2019, it is a wish that comes true for his fans as he announced his Asia Tour will kick off soon which includes Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta and Singapore.

With his release of the 4th single, he prepares a surprise as the single will feature various artists around Asia including Malaysian actress-singer Diana Danielle.

It is expected that Plenary Hall, KL Convention Centre will be buzzing with energy as his fans welcome him to the city on Oct 27.

Tickets’ price are RM328 (CAT 1), RM298 (CAT 2) and RM258 (CAT 3).

11. KESHI - Dec 3, 2022

“If you need me I’ll be here, right here..”

Keshi sung this in ‘Right Here’ and how lucky his Malaysian fans are since he really will be right here for his HELL/Heaven Tour in Asia which will start with Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore, and then Kuala lumpur.

Fans are definitely all hyped up to sing along to his songs such as ‘Like I Need U’ and “Beside You’ with all their hearts because his alternative R&B tunes are totally one of a kind.

The tickets’ price is RM188, and fans will meet him at LIVE 8, KL Convention Centre, on 3 December 2022, starting at 8.30 PM.

12. JAY CHOU - Jan 15, 2023

After multiple changes for his world tour date, fans can look forward to seeing Jay Chou in concert at National Stadium Bukit Jalil.

The popular singer who is also known as the Mando-pop King will include Malaysia as part of his ‘Carnival World Tour’ and fans could enjoy his performance live at the stadium that day.

Tickets are priced RM938, RM838, RM738, RM588, RM488, RM388 and RM288 (excludes RM4 booking fee).

Fans should also note that all previously purchased tickets from TicketCharge Malaysia will be honoured at the new date.

13. BLACKPINK - March 4, 2023

This sensational South Korean girl group needs no introduction and is very much welcomed by Blinks in Malaysia to come visit the country.

They had just announced that they will be performing in the country for their ‘Born Pink World Tour’ in Kuala Lumpur on March 4 next year.

Since they had just released a preliminary announcement, no further details of the concert has been revealed but it is enough to get the Blinks gearing up to buy their tickets.
