SHAH ALAM - Malaysia recorded 2,464 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to data published by the health ministry.

There were nine deaths due to Covid-19 with zero brought-in-dead (BID) cases.

This brings the death toll rate to 36,145 since the pandemic began.

The nation also recorded 4,427 recoveries.

Currently, there are 38,918 active cases with 37,408 (96.1 percent) undergoing home quarantine.
