Rasuah Busters are now in Johor
Nor Azura Md AminJOHOR BAHRU - Johor Rasuah Busters involving several Johor NGOs has been formed to educate and create awareness and fight against corruption.
Johor Rasuah Busters chairperson Azmi C Mohd said the formation of Johor Rasuah Busters said they will commit to tackling corruption issues using various approaches.
“The NGOs are made up of different races to forge unity among us and delivering the anti-corruption message to the public," he said.
Azmi, the Malaysian Community Concern Foundation (MCCF) Liaison secretary added the team had a meeting last week which saw several key appointments.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Foundation Johor chairman Rosdi Amir was appointed as Rasuah Busters Johor deputy chairman, Permas Jaya Police Association deputy chairman Raynes Chong was appointed as secretary and Burstore Streetware clothes trader Mohd Faiz Md Zaidon was appointed as the deputy secretary.
Among the NGOs present were the Islamic Youth Malaysia (ABIM) Johor, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Foundation, Employers' and Bus Drivers' association for Johor and Secretariat of Malaysian buses.
Also presented were the Diabetes Malaysia Johor Branch, Persatuan Kebajikan Suara Wanita Johor, Persatuan Kebajikan Semangat Kerjasama Johor Bahru, Pertubuhan Orang Lama Taman Cendana Pasir Gudang, Johor Kindergarten Association and Islamic Kindergarten Association Malaysia.
Also present was Yayasan Sinar Malaysia (#RasuahBusters) Chief Executive Officer Nurhayati Nordin.
