Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman outside of Dang Wangi police headquarters today over Turun protest held in Kuala Lumpur last Sunday.
This comes as the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) today said that the government has declassified the report with several paragraphs omitted.
"The sharks and the people involved in the LCS project are roaming freely in Putrajaya but the one who protested for justice are called for investigation today.
"Probe the individuals who are involved instead," Syed Saddiq told reporters outside of the Dang Wangi police headquarters today.
He further told Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein that it was not necessary to set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) as the names are in the report released by the government while a forensic audit is being carried out.
"So take the necessary action now, why wait," Syed Saddiq said.
Syed Saddiq also proposed for a special parliament session made up of bipartisan committee to find a middle ground and determine the direction of the country's military.
"This is because any plans that involve the military needs to be covered by all parties.
"We need a special meeting not to just point fingers but to draw a white paper, discuss beforehand so that it will be carried out smoothly, no matter who the prime minister is," he said.
He said allocations for the armed forces should not be decreased and spend wisely.
Police called in 13 politicians and activists for questioning at Dang Wangi police headquarters today over Turun protest held in Kuala Lumpur last Sunday.
About 100 protesters gathered near a shopping mall to demand answers on the updates over the LCS project.
The ‘Turun Movement’ protesters had demanded the government probe the condition of the ships and also urged Hishammuddin to step down from his post.
