LCS protest: 13 individuals summoned to Dang Wangi tomorrow

SHAH ALAM – Police will summon 13 individuals who participated in the weekend protest over the controversial multi-billion Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) project.

Dang Wangi police chief Assistant Commissioner Noor Dellhan Yahaya when contacted confirmed that the 13 individuals were called up tomorrow.

It was understood that among those summoned were lawyer Siti Kassim, Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and Muda secretary-general Amir Abd Hadi who led the protest on Sunday.

Over 100 protesters gathered in front of a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur to demand answers over the controversial LCS project.

The peaceful gathering started at 2pm and participants dispersed after an hour.
