SHAH ALAM - Sinar Daily's Relatable talk show is back with another episode and this time it will highlight parents' dilemma on sharing about their children on social media.
Parents sharing their children’s photos or videos on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter was considered a norm in the 21st century.
They did it for the purpose of sharing their parenting journey and the growth of their children.
However, what about the risks of their children also being exposed to irresponsible Internet users?.
The show will dive into the psychological elements behind social media as an integral part of life.
Discussions will also focus on whether it was necessary to post contents which revolved around the lives of their children.
Panellists will also talk about the concerns such as the long term impacts on the children, the importance of consent and what parents should be aware of before posting.
The episode entitled "Parental Dilemma: Sharing Your Kids as Content" is scheduled to be aired at 8.30pm on Tuesday (Aug 16) on Sinar Daily's website www.sinardaily.my and Sinar Daily's Facebook page.
It will be hosted by Izza Izelan and the panellists which will be discussing the issue were clinical psychologist Shazeema Mashood Shah, Media and Information Warfare Studies senior lecturer Dr Noor Nirwandy Mat Noordin and entrepreneur Noor Inora.
