SHAH ALAM- A 31-year-old man from the United Kingdom (UK) is severely wounded and broke his right leg after falling down while bathing at Kanching Eco Forest Park waterfall today.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Director Norazam Khamis said his team received a distress call on the incident at 10.22am and nine personnel from Rawang Fire and Rescue Station were rushed to the scene.

"The rescue team arrived at the scene at 11.20am and initial treatment was given to the victim before he was carried out using a stretcher to the disaster control centre.

“The team reached the centre about an hour and a half later, and the victim was transported to Selayang hospital in an ambulance,” he said in a statement.

It was learnt that the man worked at a company in Kuala Lumpur.
