Secularism is deviant teaching - Abdul Hadi
SHAH ALAM – Secularism ideology ruins human beings, and family institutions including politics, economy, social and the environment.
Pas President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang said the matter was dangerous because their practices were too free without any care towards sins and good deeds as emphasised in the religion.
He said the deviant teaching was brought by colonisers into the Islamic society when they took over the country by strategically removing the power of the Islamic religion in world affairs, especially in the administration of the government.
“The transmission of this ideology causes Muslims, especially Kings to have their powers to govern following Islamic teachings, based on the nature of being the leader of the country when Islam was practiced before the arrival of the colonisers,” he said in the Minda Presiden Pas which was posted on his Facebook yesterday.
Hadi said that although the foreign invaders had left the Muslim homeland after their independence, they left a form of deviant teachings in the country.
"Secularism continues to be in power until it affects the education system, education and misleading media.
"We are witnessing the failure of the ideological creation of secularism in the countries that adhere to it," he said.
Hadi explained that Muslims that followed the deviant teaching would continue to be stuck in problems that could not be solved.
“Secularism is a concept stating that a government or other entities should exist separately from world affairs or religious beliefs and is a concept that is not from Islamic teachings,” he said.
