PUTRAJAYA - Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M. Saravanan hints that the 15th General Election (GE15) may take place in a month or two.

He said when the time comes for GE15 to be implemented, the public, especially civil servants should make the wise choice.

"Maybe it could happen soon, it could be in a month or two. When the time comes, make a wise choice," he said during his speech at the ministry’s award service, here on Tuesday.

He said history proved that when the people made the wrong choice in an election, civil servants became the victim.

"I hope and plead to all to leave the ideology of individual politics and think about what's best and its advantages," he said.

The MIC Vice President said the best choice must be made to ensure the stability of politics and ensure Malaysia as a country that would continue to develop.

"What's best is to give the political stability that will continue for the children," he said.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob reminded all Barisan Nasional (BN) members including the leaders to not attack each other to the point where it hinders the party in the upcoming election

Meanwhile, in a press conference, Saravanan said the list of candidates for the party would be decided by Tan Sri S A Vigneswaran.

"We will compete in nine Parliament seats and 18 Assemblyman seats as what was contested in GE14 previously," he said.

He was asked whether there would be a change of seats, he gave that decision for the party to decide.

"Let the party decide, that is BN level," he said
