SEREMBAN - Barisan Nasional (BN) have not discussed the division of seats and candidates competing in the 15th General Elections (GE15).

However, BN Deputy Chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said an early discussion was made to raise the issue and BN’s party component.

"Our main attention is to ensure the party’s machinery is ready to face GE15.

"The approach and strategy must be right, not for fun and celebration, but to win.

"We have yet to discuss the division of seats and candidates, it will be decided at the BN Supreme Assembly level and there will be an understanding," he said in a press conference after the meeting between the BN leadership today.

Meanwhile, the Negeri Sembilan BN Chairman believed that the party was capable of winning the state again and it would be its priority this time.

"The arrangement of the party is important, don't be careless because we can win in the state.

"We lost that day for no reason, we should solve the party’s internal problems first.

"We will win Labu State Assembly again, Lenggeng, Kuala Klawang and Pilah," he said.

In GE14 Pakatan Harapan (PH) successfully won the Negeri Sembilan government after winning 20 State Assembly seats out of 36 seats that were contested, while BN won 16 seats.
