SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional has expressed disappointment with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s failure to fulfil certain terms in an agreement between the coalition and the Umno vice-president.

PN secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin said the coalition would send a delegation to meet the prime minister to discuss the implementation of terms stated in the agreement.

“The meeting expressed disappointment with the Prime Minister as he is seen as though he is not determined to fulfill important terms in the agreement between him and Perikatan," he said over a meeting held by PN leaders on July 27.

The statement comes Bersatu claimed it was promised a deputy prime minister’s post in the Cabinet line-up.

The meeting was attended Bersatu chairperson Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, and was attended by all of the presidential members, PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang, STAR President Datuk Seri Jeffrey G. Kitingan, SAPP President Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee and Gerakan President Datuk Dominic Lau and other leaders from Perikatan Nasional.
