KUALA LUMPUR - Traffic lights on most of the roads in Kuala Lumpur are not functioning following the power interruption today.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall had instructed the Traffic Warden Officer to control and monitor traffic movements on the roads.

"In this regard, road users are urged to exercise caution to avoid any unwanted accidents," it said in a statement on Wednesday.

Previously, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) had confirmed the electricity disruption in a few areas and the cause was still being investigated.

The electricity outage reportedly took place in a few states in the Peninsula. - AWANI
