KUALA LUMPUR - Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon said the word with the letter “P” used by Pasir Salak MP Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman is not mentioned in the Parliament’s hansard.

Rashid said he had looked for the word uttered by Tajuddin, but could not find it.

This, he said has also been referred to the legal advisor.

Subsequently, he ordered Tajuddin to not attend the Dewan Rakyat session for two days.

"My decision is that the Pasir Salak MP automatically gets two days (suspension) including the day of the incident," he said in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday.

Dissatisfied with the decision, Kasthuri Patto (PH-Batu Kawan) stood up and expressed her disappointment over the ruling.

Kasthuri said the obscene remarks were indeed not in the handsard because Tajuddin’s microphone was turned off at that time.

“Nine MPs and I heard those words, because the microphone was off at that time," Kasturi said.
