Signature Market dives into retail, unveils its first experience store
Signature Market dives into the retail world by setting up its first ever biophilic experience store located at Arcoris Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.
Well known for their healthy snacks and natural skincare products on its e-commerce platform, the physical store incorporates a handful of components including sensory room that features Plant Origins aromatherapy products as well as cafe called See, which is cleverly designed in an eco-friendly setting.
Signature Market co-founder and chief executive officer Edwin Wan said the inspiration behind the store was to provide their dedicated customers with a space that can contribute to improve their mental and spiritual well-being.
"See Cafe is inspired by a practice in Japan where people used to calm down in a space before they go back to their families.
"We created this space as Signature Market has always champions mental health and we chose this location because the place is very calm and presentable," he told Sinar Daily during its launch recently.
Edwin said visitors can also find an art gallery by Lihua Wong. What’s more engaging was that See Cafe plans to host private workshops on a weekly basis that’s open to the public.
Among the workshops available is flower arrangment classes.
Edwin added that the space at the store was also perfect for gatherings with family and friends or host events and meetings. In the centre of the store, a beautifully-designed staircase called the 'stairs of abundance' features an artwork of grown indoor plants symbolising the true meaning of abundance.
Meanwhile, the room featurings the range of Plant Origins products provides customers with an one-one-one aromatherapy session and massage.
Brand Manager for Plants Origin, Dashindra Siva said the session was free of charge thus the customers would only need to book an appointment online and enjoy the theraphy service.
There is something for everybody, and here coffee lovers can also enjoy special drinks designed by reputable baristas David Leong Weng Wai and Cino Lim from Barista Guild Asia - a coffee training centre.
Signature Market co-founder John Cheng said he aspired to make Malaysia a beautiful and healthier country.
"Signature Market has been operating for eight years digitally so I think it’s timely that we embark onto a new chapter in retail.
"We mainly focus on uplifting people's lives so I believe this cafe provides a conducive space for our customers to come and relax," he said
